Self awareness and a commitment to learn and change are fundamental to achieving successful outcomes from participation in the development of emotional competence. Delegates are encouraged throughout to reflect on and challenge their current leadership approach and behaviour - how learning outcomes achieved can be translated into policies and strategies to benefit them and their specific organisation is a key focus of debate.

The elements, time scales and structure of programmes depend on the level and type of input relevant to the client and the individual and group learning outcomes they wish to achieve. Our approach provides a flexible framework of delivery options with an emphasis on EQ development through reflective practice. The following elements are included:

Initial analysis of current state using our EQ Executive Leadership Profile and/or organisation specific assessment options / psychometric analysis;
Agreement of individual client’s development needs and learning outcomes;
A series of interactive group workshop sessions (Option for ‘on-line learning’ workshop programme delivery)
Academic input requiring varying depths of knowledge and understanding of core texts/ readings, with level depending on the length and intensity of the programme;
On-line learning resources designed to supplement and support core texts/readings;
An adventure based leadership and teamwork event designed to complement the workshop sessions by providing the opportunity for active learning in an outdoor environment;
One to one coaching support tailored to specific client requirements;
A focused review and evaluation of learning outcomes achieved and how these have contributed to both individual and organisational development;
Opportunity to work towards achievement of a recognised NVQ Level 5 Strategic Management qualification.
